Deli Slices

Location: 511 Black Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035

P&S Ravioli Company is seeking full-time and part-time Deli Slicers for our Haddon Heights, NJ location. We’re looking for dependable, customer-focused individuals who take pride in their work and thrive in a fast-paced food service environment. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Position Overview:

The Deli Slicer is responsible for slicing, preparing, wrapping, and merchandising deli items including meats, cheeses, produce, hoagies, catering trays, and side items. This position requires strong attention to detail, solid slicer skills, and a commitment to cleanliness and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Slice deli meats and cheeses to order with accuracy

  • Wrap, weigh, label, and price items appropriately

  • Prepare hoagies, sandwiches, and catering trays

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area

  • Restock ingredients and monitor inventory

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Able to work in a high-volume environment

  • Comfortable using slicers and working near ovens

  • Able to stand for long periods

  • Quick learner with attention to detail

  • Food safety experience is a plus

  • Strong work ethic and team player

Store Hours:

  • Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The Dresser is responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging deli products, including sandwiches, hoagies, catering trays, and side items. This role requires attention to detail, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and prepare sandwiches, hoagies, and wraps according to recipes and customer requests.
  • Wrap, weigh, label, and price deli items accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.

Position Overview:

The Cashier is responsible for managing customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized front-of-house area. This role also involves light assistance with kitchen tasks and restocking items.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using the POS system.
  • Take customer orders at the counter, answer questions, and provide product information.
  • Restock chips, sodas, and other side items as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to quickly learn cash handling procedures and operate a POS system.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
